Beautiful Demise found itself in the Cleveland Ohio area once again for a quick trip to see what fruits the warm weather has brought the most populous city of Ohio. During our brief visit, we had a chance to stop by CLE clothing, which is an indie clothing label based out of Cleveland. I was really surprised at the size of the store considering its location. For anyone familiar with downtown Cleveland, CLE clothing is right smack-dab in the middle of it all. They are only a few blocks from the tower city center shopping plaza, which is also the home to Cleveland’s newest addition, the HORSESHOE casino. I would have thrown a few dollars down for the BD crew, but all the gambling addicts had already formed a line wrapping around the building. Oh well, at least I’ve still got my $20.
Another local spot we had time to visit was NEXT, a streetwear boutique that carries both domestic and international streetwear brands. NEXT is largely focued on the mens streetwear scene, but also offers a few ladies items as well in select brands. While I’m not really doing any shopping per se, it’s always good to see what brands various boutiques have to offer. You can kind of get a feel for what the local streetwear scence is like by visiting a few local boutiques to see what they are pushing. Billionaire Boys Club, The Hundreds, and 10 Deep were some of the more well known streetwear brands we saw while in Cleveland this past week.
